Life Is Strange Episode 2 Photo Locations

Finding all the hidden collectibles in Life is Strange adds a lot of depth to Max Caulfield's time-traveling journey. In the second episode, titled Out of Time, players can discover ten unique photo opportunities scattered across various familiar environments. Tracking down these specific locations unlocks achievements and rewards thorough exploration of the game's detailed narrative spaces.
Blackwell Academy and the Girls Dormitory
The first few opportunities appear early in the episode while exploring the campus grounds. Max can snap a picture of Kate Marsh's rabbit inside her dorm room right at the start. After stepping outside, you will need to search the trash bin near the campus bench to find a piece of a candy bar. Placing this food on the bench attracts a local squirrel, allowing you to snap the second optional shot from a safe distance.
Visiting the Two Whales Diner Area
The journey then takes Max to the bustling local diner where three more locations await. Before entering the building, look directly above the main entrance to take a picture of the iconic neon whale sign. Next, circle around the back alley behind the diner and look through the wire fence to capture a shot of Frank's dog, Pompidou. The final collectible in this area requires entering the diner's restroom and photographing the distinct message written on the mirror.
Exploring the American Rust Junkyard
The largest concentration of hidden opportunities can be found while exploring the junkyard with Chloe. Walk around to the side of the abandoned school bus parked near the clearing to frame the next dynamic shot. To secure the subsequent photo, keep an eye out for a wild doe standing still in the grassy area before it gets scared away. Finally, head towards the small workspace inside the junkyard and climb to the upper deck to photograph a sleeping owl tucked away in the corner.
Returning to Blackwell and the Science Lab
The final photo opportunities take place back inside the school building during the evening sequence. Enter the chemistry lab and turn on the aquarium lights to make the fish swim active before taking your shot. Right next to that spot, approach the science skeleton model holding a cigarette to finalize the collection. Documenting these specific places ensures you do not miss any valuable completion milestones before the dramatic conclusion of the chapter.
